How is Wodaj funded?

Wodaj has filed for 501c3 status as an official nonprofit.

Funding includes a nominal annual membership fee per family and event fees pertaining to the individual activities. We are actively seeking corporate donations to fund many of the mentor/mentee activities and venues.

We also plan to apply for federal and state grants and actively fundraise throughout the year.

We are run 100% by volunteers and would love your support if you'd like to see Wodaj become an important offering in our community.

This seems like a great idea for helping transracial adoptees. How is Wodaj giving back to the Ethiopian Community?

We are actively looking at a way to track mentor service hours, extend college credit, offer professional internship networks, and fund mission programs that are important to our Ethiopian community volunteers.
